The administration of occupational safety and health in Finland is conducted by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and the Regional State Administrative Agencies. The Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health involves the close collaboration of employers and employees’ organizations and the ministry.

Regional State Administrative Agencies are in charge of the supervision and direction of standards and practices in workplaces.
